1976 Triumph TR6 EFI

This car was imported from Texas in January of this year (2019). The car was chosen for import as an exceptionally solid example which and had never been previously welded. All sills, sill caps, bulkheads, rear valance are as they left the factory.
The car has undergone a thorough professional restoration over the past 9 months. It is impossible to list all of the new and replacement parts but there are approximately 500 photo’s which document every job undertaken and you should review these in detail at the bottom of the page. Any inspection is welcomed and the car can be viewed on a 2-post car lift, wheels off, carry out cylinder leak-down test etc.
The car drives beautifully and has been converted to modern EFI.
Weld repair to floors to remove pitted areas, replacement of chassis “t-shirt” panel. Full repaint inside and out in Damson Red.
Head was removed for skimming to increase compression to UK spec. On removal it can be observed and shown in the pictures that the engine has had a very recent rebuild. Bores and pistons are immaculate, valves & guides are as new. Engine has been converted to modern fuel injection and electronic ignition with fully programmable ECU. Demonstration of tuning software can be provided if requested. Car has been mapped and drives beautifully. Full parts list for EFI components will be provided. All coolant hoses replaced.
Clutch replaced, clutch slave and master cylinder replaced, clutch pipework replaced, gearbox output shaft seal replaced, speedo drive pinion and cable, propshaft UJ’s. New tunnel cover.
Rebuilt drive shafts, output bearings and seals, new diff mounts
Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Fully rebuilt – new rear cylinders & shoes, front calipers overhauled, new pads, new master cylinder, new brake pipes.
Suspension removed and rebuilt front and rear, all bushes replaced, telescopic Gaz dampers on rear
New steering rack, track rod ends, column bushes
Fully re-trimmed including all panels, door cards, new carpets throughout, MX5 sports seats.
Full stainless exhaust system, electric fuel pump, pre and post filters.
Mohair hood, new ½ tonneau.

Doors stripped and rebuilt with all new seals, felts inner and outer. New matching lock set.
New wiper arms
You can only appreciate the work that has gone into this car by viewing the vehicle and the build photo’s. The car is ready to be enjoyed with years of worry free motoring.
It is Tax and MOT exempt, V5 present etc
Overall the car is ready to go anywhere, The mechanic who carried out the restoration has over 25 years experience in classic car restorations. Nothing was left to chance, if it needed replacing it was replaced. The has to be seen to be appreciated, every bolt, nut and pipe is correct. The standard of work is very very good.
