1993 Volkswagen T4 Syncro Reimo Campervan • 2.4 diesel with turbo upgrade • 215,000 miles • fresh 12 month MOT

A genuine factory converted Reimo T4 Syncro camper that has been extensively upgraded and is ready for its next adventure.

We completed a 6,000 mile trip around Europe in it this summer, tackling steep mountain roads and temperatures of up to 34°C. It performed fantastically throughout and never let us down.

The van retains its dependable 2.4 diesel engine, upgraded using a 2.5 TDI turbo setup. This conversion alone cost the previous owner £2,489 and makes it far more capable on longer journeys and hills.

The previous owner kept the van for eight years and spent just under £20,000 maintaining and improving it. It comes with lots of history and was even featured in a magazine when it was brand new in 1993. We still have the original article.

Mechanical upgrades and maintenance

  • Volkswagen Syncro four wheel drive system
  • 2.4 diesel engine with 2.5 TDI turbo setup
  • New Bilstein suspension with approximately 20mm lift
  • Sump guard
  • New all terrain tyres fitted before our European trip
  • Serviced at 209,000 miles with fresh oil and filter
  • Pre MOT inspection completed last week

It drives extremely well and has proven itself over a substantial European road trip.

Air conditioning is fitted and was working previously, but it has recently stopped working and we have not investigated the cause. The Truma heating system is also untested.

This is a well equipped and genuinely usable Syncro camper with a huge amount of money spent on it. It has recently completed a demanding 6,000 mile journey without letting us down and is ready to be enjoyed.
